The school started its functioning on 26th June 1995 with 96 Students and a team of 8 Teachers and was recognized as L&T D.A.V. Public School, Gujarat Cement Works, Kovaya, Dist. Amreli, Gujarat, owed its existence to the collaboration between D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi and L&T Cement Limited.  Consequent upon the demerger of L&T Cement Limited to UltraTech Cement Limited of Aditya Birla Group, the School has made its remarkable beginning on 1st April 2006 with its new name “THE ADITYA BIRLA PUBLIC SCHOOL” located at UltraTech Cement Limited, Gujarat Cement Works Township, P.O.Kovaya, Taluka-Rajula, Dist-Amreli, Gujarat-365541 around 160 km from Bhavnagar and 350 km from Ahmedabad.
